Missionary Goat Project: 1 Of The Most Inspiring Ways Narok Families Were Empowered Through the Window Goat Project

When God calls us to serve, He often reminds us that the smallest gifts can create the greatest blessings. In Narok, missionaries recently launched The Window Goat Project—a simple yet powerful initiative designed to uplift families and strengthen communities through God’s Word in action.

How the Goat Project Works
The idea was straightforward: each family would receive one goat, care for it, and once it gave birth, the family would keep the young goat while passing the original goat on to another household in need. This cycle of sharing not only provided milk and income but also cultivated a culture of generosity and unity. Just as Galatians 6:2 says, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ,” this project became a living expression of that scripture.

For many families in Narok, the goats became more than livestock—they became a source of dignity, hope, and long-term sustenance. Mothers rejoiced at having milk for their children, while fathers found new ways to support their households. The act of passing on the goat symbolized a deeper lesson: that what we receive from God should not end with us, but should continue to bless others.

Behind the scenes, Mission Tour and Travel played a vital role in making this mission possible. They managed all the transportation logistics, ensuring the safe delivery of goats, food, and missionary teams. In addition, they arranged comfortable accommodation for the missionaries, allowing them to rest, focus, and fully dedicate themselves to serving the community without worry. This comprehensive support ensured that the mission ran smoothly and the project’s goals were successfully met.

Mission Tour and Travel dedicated support allowed the missionaries to remain focused on their calling—to serve with love, preach the Gospel, and meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people. We helped in organizing a 2-day safari experience for them to explore the Kenyan Wild.

The Window Goat Project is more than a program; it is a testimony of God’s provision and a reminder that when we give freely, blessings multiply. In Narok, families are now not only sustained but also empowered to sustain others—a cycle of faith, hope, and love that reflects Christ’s heart for the world.
